Our philosophy is simple. We want to help you make the best decisions possible.
As a firm, our focus is to assist you in establishing (or refining) goals and develop a plan to make sure you reach them. We will analyze your current situation and develop recommendations based on your financial objectives. Together, we implement the recommendations and monitor your progress. As we work toward your long and short-term goals, when necessary, we make adjustments to ensure the desired outcome is achieved.
A comprehensive financial plan is the best way to create a more secure future.
It is crucial to create a financial plan that addresses your needs now while planning for the future, all in a tax efficient manner. Two key aspects of financial security that we consider: asset protection and wealth creation. A plan must help ensure financial security throughout your life – for you and for your loved ones. Most importantly, it must provide direction and clarity in your lives.
With this purpose in mind, we will work together to assess your total financial planning needs. We will incorporate important factors such as retirement, tax planning, estate planning, risk management, investment planning, and goal funding (major purchases, college savings, etc.). In short, we aim to help improve every aspect of your financial lives.
Goal-based financial planning is designed to help you:
- Define customized short and long-term goals
- Create a path to help you reach your goals once established
- Identify risks or roadblocks that might impact your success
- Create flexibility within your plan to ensure it meets your changing needs
How we get paid:
Our compensation may come in a number of ways. For our financial planning services, we generally work on a flat or hourly fee, depending on your preference. Additionally, some of our clients wish to pay an annual retainer for ongoing support and updates.
The fee for our advisory services and asset management is determined by an annual percentage assessed on the value of your account, typically paid monthly. This type of compensation, referred to as an "assets under management fee," aligns our interests with yours, because we only make more money when you do too.
Lastly, if you choose to purchase an insurance product through us, as your agent, we would likely be paid a commission by the insurance carrier.
Whatever your preference, we have a fee structure that will work for you, is completely transparent, and fair to both parties.
